I had an encounter during the "physical" with a nurse at the Cedar Rapids - Rockwell location that was completely uncalled for. After submitting a request online on 28th, and leaving a message for the site manager on the 29th I did not get a call from anyone at the site. I submitted another request on the 3rd to speak to someone over the site manager and received a call from the assistant manager on the 4th, which was unacceptable. Biolife is a horrible company. They told me if I donated 2 times in one week I would get 20 the first time and 60 the second. I come back to donate the second time and said i could not. The nurse tells me if i came the day before i would had been fine. But no one seemed to care to tell me this. My attorney is going to know about this scam they pull on many people.

Staff (Mario) and nurses are awful!! Very unfriendly! The short nurse especially! Very cocky and arrogant! You are a nurse at a plasma center! They do not know how to treat people at all! She has given me attitude every time I've gone there and I'm nothing but a nice person! I've never written a review for somewhere before but this place is ridiculous! Stay away from there! Go elsewhere like CSL! It's trashier but its at least better than dealing with that staff off battlefield! There are some good staff that work there but ... read more

Rude staff, No waiting room for anyone that gives you a ride, the have to wait in a hot car. Was told I could donate one time within eating 3 hours then the next time it had to be 1. Apparently staff doesn't know the right requirements.
