Horrible experience dealing with the management at the Corpus Christi, Texas location and the entire company! We woke up the morning of January 24th, 2022 to a wet mess in our condo due to water pouring in thru our ceiling due to an improper and incomplete install of a window wall unit above our condo unit. We ordered a replacement window for a rent house from the Norman, OK location back in June because the firm the tenant contacted said they could not replace the current window with as good quality as Binswanger had previously. We paid for half the cost in August with instructions to call the tenant to schedule and keep getting put off because of "storms" in the area. Do not use this company for any services whatsoever. They do not honor what they promise, do not disclose they rent equipment then later charge you for it, regardless of whether it is in the contract or not. Do not trust their representative, Jeff S*******. He agrees to work, adds it in the contract, forgets he agreed to it, then accuses you of sneaking it into the contract. I had a windshield replaced and in less than six months it broke BELOW THE DASH for no reason that we know of, and Binswanger did not dispute that it broke from the inside. They said we pushed something against the window and broke it. (which is a lie) and refused to do anything about it. ***** *******
I have taken the same storm window in to the location here in Lilburn Ga. to be repaired three separate times that is in a rental home I own. The first time, about 3 years ago, I was charged about 50 dollars. The second time, about 2 years ago, I was charged a little over 100 dollars, which I thought was high but everything goes up, right? I reached out to this company to repair a broken glass window (********* Richmond Location). The person on the phone was very nice and friendly and was able to get me scheduled for someone to come out very quickly. The guys that came to my home for window measurements were also very nice and friendly so I thought I was getting a good company that cared about customers. Horrible. No customer service skills or leadership. Nobody wants to be held accountable. I deserve a free windshield the way the manager spoke to me, bad decision making skills. She spoke to me as if I owed her a million dollars. Run away and take your money where it’s wanted!
We had windows installed by Binswanger over a year ago. The first rain we had leaks. We immediately called Binswanger. They took a month to send someone. They did not fix they said they would be back. We called again and they sent no one. We spent $11,000 and almost every window leaks. We will have to hire another company to come finish their sloppy work. I am very disappointed in Binswanger I picked them because I thought they were a reputable company.
I requested an estimate for the bottom half of a window from Binswanger on South Congress. Their estimate was 791.00. I got a second estimate from a different company for 250.00. I feel that Binswanger is taking advantage of their customers.
