I have been meeting with her about a little more than 6 months now and I have been consistent during this period. I really can say that there is BIG difference from where we started. Hair growth in treated area is almost 0 now. Karen is very kind and helpful. I never had a bruise or scarring despite my very frequent sessions. I also like that she is very good friend and genuinely cares about her clients progress
When I decided to have electrolysis on my legs, I originally went to the other business in Vestal. But I had continued difficulties trying to schedule even just a 15-minute appointment -- it was even harder to find longer appointments available. I'm writing this review because I noticed another reviewer had had a similar issue, and I thought Karen was not very compassionate in her response to them. I just wanted to confirm for people that it was not an isolated problem. tl;dr: she didn't check in about boundaries, gave me permanent skin damage and scarring on my chin that hasn't healed after two years, and tried to gaslight me about whether she had given me scarring I saw Karren for 10-15 hour and a half long sessions. Binghamton Electrolysis was recommended to me by my dermatologist. During the first appointment Karren educated me on what it is, answered all of my questions and then did a sample area. She provided me with an aftercare kit and contacted me the next day to see if everything was okay. I’ve now been going to Binghamton Electrolysis for closer to 8 months and am extremely satisfied with the results! It works! The facility is clean and very welcoming.
