A $500 Cleaning! I would have thought it possible until it happened to me. While the tech did a fantastic job, they told me that I needed to pay $480 for the cleaning because I had not seen a dentist for 2 years, due to Covid, and had some gingivitis, I needed a thorough cleaning. My insurance would have paid 50% but they said that if they used my insurance, my out-of-pocket amount would be even more.
