Re: Good Food but Pricey This restaurant has excellent food but the prices are a little high for the food. I know that you pay a little extra for the view because it is pretty good. It's a nice place to go once in a while. I agree with the previous reviewer that you can get the same view downstairs, decent food (good apps), good drinks, and service for much less.
Yarrow Bay Grill is Great for the whole family The Yarrow Bay Grill is an upscale landmark on the Eastside. Located in Carillon Point, the food is amazingly wonderful. The atmosphere is family friendly and the staff is warm and welcoming.
Overpriced average restaurant If you judge a restaurant by prices alone this would be a classy restaurant. Unfortunately the food and decor are only a little above average, not what you expect in a classy restaurant. And service is below average. Expect to spend $50 to $100 person at the Grill. (There is one entree that costs $75.) The Cafe below is cheaper. Anthonys is a better choice, or if you want more expensive try Herbfarm in Woodenville. PROS: Average food and decor; good views. CONS: Poor service.
NOT AS GOOD AS I HAD HOPED FOR – After much debate between Bin on the lake or my hotels restaurant, Trellis . I decided to go to Bin on the Lake due to the location. What a huge mistake. Lets start with the appetizers. Usually , when an establishment has a small menu, they are damn good at executing it. In there case, the appetizers I had there were way over spiced ( the goat cheese with tomato sauce was so spicy and I eat siracha chilli sauce )that it left a bad taste on my pallet or they were way under sauced (the confit duc... read more

A Wine Lovers Dream!! – I met a friend in the bar this week and was blown away by my 80 choices for wines by the glass. As if that wasn't difficult enough, I also had to choose if I wanted 1, 3, or 5 ounces of said wine...... The wine list is more of a "book with chapters" with many delicious wines to consider. I started with 3 ounces of Veuve Cliquot Rose', 3 ounces of Caymus Cabernet, another 3 ounces of Waters Bordeaux blend and finished it off with a 5 ounce pour of Cullin Hills "The Dungeon" Syrah. That equates to 14 ou... read more
