I had high hopes for Bimini. At our table we ordered two filets and one of the 26 oz tomahawk ribeyes. All were pretty disappointing for being nearly $100 each. Of the filets, neither of them were finished. I split the Tomahawk with another diner. It was overcooked and with no crust to be found. It's not often you go to a steakhouse and steak gets left because it just isn't good enough to finish. The french onion soup was decent and so were the cocktails. I'll be avoiding Bimini in the future.
Was just here over 25/26 new year. Ordered an dry aged bone in rib eye. Just shy of a 100 bucks. Asked for just over rare and it came medium plus and was quite tough. A disappointing steak for sure. I've done Ruth Chris many times and its always spot on at this price point. I didn't send it back because I was with some new friends and didn't want to be that guy. In retrospect I should have. I was really looking forward to celebrating my birthday here, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. If you do decide to visit, I recommend parking in the garage--it's quite a walk from the Virginia Street parking lot. Service started off okay, but the pacing felt off.
