The recently renovated luxury hotel with a spa and a golf course is set in a 150 acre estate of tropical landscape in Coral Gables. The hotel has one of the largest pools in the US, with private cabanas and pool-side dining at the Cascade restaurant. Fontana serves Italian inspired cuisine while the 19th Hole has a sports club ambiance, with pub fare.

My wife and I have stayed at many high-end hotels the past 10 or so years as this happens to be something we enjoy more than anything. This year was extra special with it being my 40th bday. My wife decided on the Biltmore. And it did not disappoint. The service was a 10, the property is beautiful, and overall just an incredible place to stay. I booked at Fontana a lunch for my husband bday. When we got there they told us the area is closed so they seated us inside by a kitchen that looked so disastrous and not welcoming. We got no notification about that, I would not drive one hour for that. I asked for a manager no one came. Later someone else called/ no help. We left and had our bday lunch in the city.
