It's a great venue-!good food, fun. The only downside is the sign at the end of the pier. It's a great idea but the placement totally blocks any view of any event. Two examples would be the lighted boat parade and the wakeboard competition. Move the sign and all would be right on Lake Tarpon!
Never been disappointed. .The hamburgers and wings are a no brainer...

Love the Tarpon Turtle. The food is such a welcome change from the burger and sports bar types of restaurants. Chef/Owner Eric has made the TT a great place to enjoy a wonderful and unique menu in a pleasant lake side setting. The magnificent view of beautiful Lake Tarpon is worth the price of admission in and of itself. (Actually there is no admission price). Looking to enjoy a little something different from the sea? Here's the place. You won't be disappointed.
From what I heard from the kitchen when I was there eating, I wouldn't want to work for this place for all the money in the world. Screaming at the help, so VERY unprofessional!!!! Never will my foot step back in this place.
Highly recommend Tarpon Turtle for private parties/events! We hosted a party there last night and Eric and his team were amazing -- from pre-planning, to accommodating an an uncommon food allergy, to delicious food and awesome customer service all night long from the staff! The Hemingway House is a great setting for a party of 40-50 people with plenty of seating and of course, corn-hole! Thanks to the great Tarpon Turtle owners and staff for a wonderful and fun time!
Amazing view of Tarpon Lake! Chef Eric is the best in town, the specials are ALWAYS a must!!
Me and my wife have been here twice and loved it food is very tasty and reasonably priced I do recommend the burgers the black and blue burger
Great place. Food, service and scenery were the best. Shout out to our server Erica for making my niece's birthday a great celebration. Can not say anything bad about this place.
