We were a party of 14 and our server seemed overwhelmed (understandable) but was very nice. Food was delicious and we enjoyed ourselves even though we couldn't sit outside and enjoy the view due to the weather.
Love the atmosphere, the owners are very attentive. It is just a fun place to spend an afternoon. Entertainment hired is typically great. Well worth giving the place a try if you have not been there. Never have we received bad service or have had any kind of complaint. LOVE, LOVE
We have been going to this restaurant since It was nothing more than a shack on the lake. The new ownership has done an amazing job of turning this into one of the most desirable places to visit and dine at. We go there often and love the food and service, not to mention the incredible view.
Megan was a fantastic waitress. We were seated promptly, ordered and were served our delicious entrees! The flavors here are spectacular! Our son is visiting from IL; so we hope to return again before he needs to go back to NIU. The cook did a fabulous job!
I have been to the Tarpon Turtle several times with family (Cheri and John Constantino) but every time we go back we invite more family members to enjoy this great place! We love the atmosphere, the food and not to mention excellent service!! We experienced our first Christmas boat parade here this year and it was great!! Great Grilled Shrimp Tacos made in a Lettuce Wrap instead of a soft taco! I loved it!
We just found our new favorite place to go. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the blackened alligator bites appitizer, which was a very nice portion. I had the seafood Mac n cheese and all I can say is WOW! It was amazing. My fiance enjoyed the crab cake sandwich and she was very pleased as well. The food was great. The view is a perfect picture of Florida, and the service was outstanding! We will be back many many times.
Try the coconut shrimp wrap! Fantastic mango salsa and fresh pineapple on it! Very, very good and the $3.00 house wine is just fine!
