Auto insurance renewal on Oct 25, as new insurance policy replaces the existing, filled and signed forms with BIG broker to cancel next years’ renewal on Oct 5th. Intact still charges the previous year premium through PAD assuming a full renewal. BIG apparently ignores your cancellation and didn’t process through Intact. Plain negligence and unprofessional at best but theft at worst, they pretend your cancellation 3 weeks prior to annual renewal doesn’t exist, just to play blind to steal from you one more year commission.
