Good Hamburgers, even better was the stealhead trout,BUT the most Epic was the Death by Chocolate Cake!! I recommend it without a shout of a doubt!
STAY AWAY. Have never walked out do to the food being so bad. Only a 1 star because the beer was cold and soda was not flat. Ordered buffalo wings and out came burnt wing with zero salt or pepper or any seasoning. Kids chicken stips plate came out with only 1 burnt strip and a hand full of soggy fries. The fried zucchini look like mozzarella sticks and were so mushy and bad that we paid for drinks and walked out. The chef needs to be fired or forced to eat his own food. First time I've ever walked out of a restaurant. The food was TERRIBLE!!! The waitress was awesome, I felt bad for her. Ordered buffalo wings, they were just deep fried legs, nothing about them said buffalo. No breading, no sauce, no flavor. Ordered the combo appetizer, was greasy and squishy. The marinara sauce was probably the worst I have tried. It tasted sour. The kids got chicken strip basket. They don't lie when they call it a "strip" basket. Now and then our Family prefers to go out for Thanksgiving Dinner. We have so enjoyed the Festive Holiday Lodge feel at Billy's. We sing carols on our drive over the ridge to Bandon by the Sea. Dan is the most Cheerful Host and Lynn's delicious desserts are the perfect way to top off a homemade traditional meal, all at a great price .Plus, you can jump over to the Boar's Nest to catch the scores, or if you like you can watch the whole game and eat in the Bar. We had their chicken fried steak. Not much breading and seasoned well. The mashed potatoes were incredible! Nice, clean establishment not far from the RV park we stay at. Service was fast, friendly and efficient!
I got the bbq chicken and my love got the crispy chicken and bacon salad... the lettuce was wilted and the carrots old on the salad. My sauteed veggies were burned, straight black. My twice baked potato was disgusting, it wasnt cooked all the way and had black rot spots all over it. The waitress forgot my clam chowder never refilled the water or came to check on us until she dropped the check at the table.. for the price of the food i just expected better service and better quality in the food. Overall disappointing.
We tend to eat there a couple times a week to more. What we enjoy his basic good tasting food. Generally order from the bar menu due to our limitation of costs but the sandwiches are wonderful...Grilled Cheese hamburger, French Dip, 1/2# Bacon burger and Fish as well as Crispy Chicken Salad, Linguine with Prawns, Creme Brulee for desert. Brandy you are the best along with Courtney. We even do take home. What we don't like....tourist season when we have to share.
