Was looking for something for dinner while traveling through KS and and came across this Billy Sims BBQ. So we decided to stop and give it a try, the result is that the food was absolutely delicious, I ordered a skinny baked potato, let me tell you that it was huge. The staff was friendly and helpful while ordering. I will definitely be back for another visit my next time through this route. Best meat and bbq here in Tulsa that we have found so far. We came from Texas and now my husband loves this place. The meat is delicious and so are the sides. Those big potatoes, you got to eat that. My husband loves those. You'll be so full you probably can't move for a few minutes. I love the sliced chicken and sliced brisket. All the food here will keep me coming back. The man cutting the meat was sweating all over the meat and the workers didn't seem they didn't care about their jobs. Mac n cheese comes from a bag not freshly made like a BBQ place should be. I will not be going back.
Amazing Barbecue! This stuff is the real deal! The Pulled Pork was absolutely amazing! The ribs practically fell off the bone! You have got to check this place out, there is nothing like it around. They prepare everything fresh and right in front of you. Their meats are not sauced but smoked to perfection. You have got to try their food you'll absolutely love it!!!
The pulled pork sandwich was good, came with two small sides and toast for $9.99. Too expensive on most items. $5.49 for one baked potato with margerine & sour cream?? !!! Ridiculous!
The best barbecue, hands down, in town. Moist, seasoned and smoked just the right amount, and the sides are wonderful. The Heisman sandwich can't be beat. It has a casual sports atmosphere and the service is quick and friendly. I've eaten at a lot of barbecue restaurants over the years, but Billy Sims BBQ in Joplin has to be at the top of the list.
