This restaurant's old-fashioned interior is comforting and cozy, and the food on the extensive menu is served any time. House specialties include Chicken Pot Pie and Penne Pasta Bolognese. There is an array of steaks, chicken dishes, pork and ham, as well as a handful of basic seafood dishes. Almost three-dozen sandwiches keep the lunch crowd happy, so the 'Verbal Abuse of Staff' charge is never applied. There is a full bar with beer, wine and cocktails, plus a dance floor.

A wonderful place with a great bar and a broad ranging menu of excellent food. If it's not on Billy Reeds menu, you don,t need to eat it. A locals favorite, not for the teeny bopper crowd who wouldn't know a good meal if it sat up and bit em
Old reviews of the restaurant do not reflect the current operation. After 25 years away, Billy reed is back with his ability to manage a top notch operation. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food is very good and you have to see the deserts to appreciate them. We stayed away for years but we and our friends enjoy Billy Reeds regularly.
Billy Reed's smells musty and feels as if the place hadn't had a cleaning in years. I've been there twice within a four-month period. The second time, I went to the bar to get a couple of little cocktail straws and they were sticky as if they'd been used. I'm not saying they were used but they were definitely sticky with something. The food was ok, nothing special but I just couldn't help feeling as if the place needed to be closed for a week of professional scrubbing from top to bottom.
Go there for a good time! – The ambiance is warm and welcoming! The locals are dressed up for a good time. There is ballroom dancing a couple times a week. Every one is welcomed to join, but those dancers are truly good! I love to dance but instead of joining them, I truly wanted to watch them dance and learn from their flawless moves as they danced around. I was there on vacation and wanted a good meal. The food was really good and the drinks were to die for. I go out a lot and I do compare places, This is truly a jewel in ... read more
The smell of urine & 109 year olds with oxygen tanks! – OK, loud mouth drunks, you can smell the restroom from anywhere in the facility and their food . . . where's the health Department? Poor quality in help, waitress did not listen to the word "Medium" on the steak order! The glass with ice water was filty with crumbs in it and covered in spots! Don't waste your time! Lots of looser timeshare people from down the street there flashing coupons and door cards. I just wanted to shout . . . . BINGO! What a retarded environment... read more
Good food and service – The food was really good and the waitress was friendly. I had the steak salad. It was the first time I tried this type of dish and was really impressed. There was enough to take back and had a meal the next day.
Greatest cinnimon rolls ever Great for a quick stop on your way in or out of Palm Springs. Huge place with plenty of seating. Victorian furnishings. Moderately priced, fast service and the cinnamon rolls are to die for. My family has been going here for years.
A Sickening Place to Eat – This place was good a long time ago. There have been changes in management. Billy Reed's is not clean. I got sick. Many locals will not eat there. Food quality and recipes are substandard.
