I highly recommend Dr. Powell’s practice. You will not be disappointed. Dr Powell is very caring and does his best to make sure patients experience the least pain possible. On the day of the initial consultation, he noticed that my daughter had a broken tooth. She had been to two separate general practice dentists and gotten x rays and neither dentist diagnosed this. This is an honest opinion. Based on experience and what I have heard from other special needs moms. Took me a while to review this because I was debating, he is a good ortho, no doubt about it. However, the staff is not prepared to deal with any sort of special need kid. If you have a neurotypical kid, they will do excellenT, but don’t expect compassion for any other type of kid. If your kid is autistic, sensory processing disorder, cerebral palsy, ADD, etc please go somewhere else.

Dr Powell is a great orthodontist, close to home, easy to reach if we have a problem and is always happy to see us.
Dr Powell is a genuinely wonderful person and orthodontist. We have been acquainted with Dr Powell and his staff for 10+ Years. Many of his staff whom worked with him over 10 years ago are still with him today working by his side. That in itself says a lot. He has treated all three of our children and helped them have beautiful smiles and perfect teeth. I cannot say enough good about this gentleman. He is a true “gentle“ man, excellent doctor, and faith filled person! We are truly thankful for him and his wonderful staff!
Dr. Powell and his staff are the best!! They are so kind and professional. My daughter who has autism sees Dr. Powell and LOVES him! She is always wanting to go see him and his staff!
