The air conditioner was not working on my sons car. Bill's repaired this for him. They also repaired windshield wipers and did an inspection of car before he drove car to Chicago. I was very impressed with everyone at bills Cost was very reasonable too.
I scheduled my appointment Monday July 18 2016 for A/C service on Thursday July 28 2016. I was a old I was booked for 8:00am in the system by the "owner" himself and he even sent me a link through my email. I went to drop my vehicle off on my only day off bright and early( mind you I have an infant in the car with me), but there was no one to greet me, people walking around outside that are suppose to be mechanics, lounging. My wife took our car into get serviced. She was quoted $500. When everything was said and done we were charged over $900. Then when I went to get my car, it would not start (the same problem that we were having BEFORE we took it in). We were told that the new part that they put in was bad, guess they never tried to start the car after they "fixed" it. so they replaced the part again and my wife went into pick up the car, the manager told her that our battery was bad and needed to be replaced. Stay away DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. My wife brought our car in to bill's. Was told it was going to be $550. When my wife went to pay it ended up being $900. and to add insult to injury..... it still would not start.

This place is horrible. I had a head gasket job done by these guys and when I get my truck back it sounded horrible. It didn't sound that way when I took it to them. Not to mention the cost was well above what they quoted me then they wanted to remove the timing cover again and replace the timing chain tincheners at my cost. This was after they admitted they should have replaced them. Steer clear form bills automotive. The owner is very dishonest and a crook!
The most recent review about AAMCO was written by the YP sales and marketing team. It is completely the oposite of the way that we operate and the way that AAMCO operates. It was a deliberately inflamatory review intended to make me buy thier services in order to take it off. I have been contacted repeatedly by them to inform me that I had a negative review and that they would remove it for a fee. DONT GIVE IN TO THIS TYPE OF EXTORSION! THIS IS AMERICA!!!
