If you are a parent making your own decisions regarding vaccinations, whether opting out totally or choosing specific vaccines, this is the place. They honor your choice for your child. We switched from Priority Care because they obviously just force vaccines down your throat with no communication. WONDERFUL service and conversation. So happy with our switch.
We have been taking our son to Redwood Pediatrics for years now. We love the early morning walk-in clinic when he is sick. And it is very easy to schedule a same-day sick appointment if we need to be seen later in the morning or afternoon. Everyone is so friendly, from the front desk staff, to the nurses and of course the providers. We are looking forward to his yearly well-child check to ensure he is on target for growth, development and overall health. We highly recommend this pediatric office.
They used to be an amazing practice, very caring to their patients. Now, with popularity and greed their care is lacking. I have been a long time patient here at Redwood and after today, I will never be back. Redwood needs to get back to their core values - and focus less on money and greed. Office staff is now not friendly and as a patient you are seen as a number. Redwood is now just like all other mediocre doctors offices when it was once so special. Disappointing. But not surprising.
Dr. Billharz refused to send referrals for my 7-year-old son, despite his history of speech, OT, PT therapy, and a dysgraphia diagnosis. He claimed my son had “outgrown” his needs and told me to come back in a few months. Four months later, after a rushed 30-minute visit, he again dismissed my concerns and told me to “just pay out of pocket” if I wanted help. I honestly questioned whether race played a role. I have taken my child to Dr. Billharz since he was first born. So whenever he opened his own practice, we followed him there of course and I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Billharz and Redwood Pediatrics! Their entire staff is amazing…the front desk people, the nurses, and all of the doctors! Dr. Billharz is so kind, understanding, he doesn’t rush you, and he makes sure to answer all of your questions.
