The rest of the story... – I have been employed by Bill Spade for 6 years in the HVAC Service and Installation Department. In a previous review, "mredd6" eluded to "an issue with some coworkers" which was experienced by his son. This took place a few weeks ago while setting a 25 ton rooftop unit for a local company in Northern Kentucky, one of which who has been a long term and excellent customer. Beware of Mr. Spade – Last Thursday my son had an issue with some coworkers and spoke to Mr. Spade about it. Mr. Spade told my son because of his attitude to leave and call him back on Monday to see if he wanted to work. I called Mr. Spade to inquire about what was happening. I was told by Mr. Spade that he was talking to me as a courtesy and the issue was between him and my son. The father of the employee in question was told when he called regarding his son's employment that we do not discuss employment issues of adult employees with anyone but the employee. The employee was not fired due to his father's inquiry. It is obvious that this person's son only told his father his version of what happened, not the entire truth. Poor experience – We have found this contractor to be unpleasant to work with. Adequate at the start when he presented himself but when problems were found with his work, we experienced terrible customer service. Only contact with a review agency alerting them of his unprofessionalism and poor workmanship prompted a response from Spade which was offensive. Follow up service by others found several installation problems. I have since heard similar stories from others. Beware or avoid.
Don't get taken – They came out after Western Hills sold me a Geo unit , and said they needed a nother control installed , will the control they said i needed stoped working and then i found out i did not even need it . when we removed it we had heat . 1. So a open loop does not need the freeze control they sold us. 2. we do need the copro-nickel coil we paid for and did not get from Western Hills 3. use someone other then these two companys that all i have to say about it.

We were very pleased with the customer service and the installations. The geothermal systems have worked efficiently since they were installed and have saved us a substantial amount of money on our utility bills. User review by aramad – Took 8 weeks to repair furnace. Replaced part after part until furnace repaired. Repair failed it less than 4 months.
