RecommendedWe have a 2011 X5 and was in Florida for the winter. While there, we had an oil leak fixed at an "indy" shop. While doing this they noticed that two coils were corroded, so fixed those and replaced spark plugs, too. Total cost right around $ 850. But, when picking it up they said the "engine malfunction" light came on. So, we took the car to the local BMW dealer in Naples. They went on and replaced two solenoids and sensors at a cost of $ 1400. We got back to Maine and my wife started the vehicle (no problems driving it back... read more
