Dr. Byers is very rude and short with his patients. His doors say walk-ins are accepted any time, but if you try to walk in for an appointment he is rude and will turn you away. He informed me that contrary to what is posted, he only accepts walk-ins on Saturday’s. When asked for the hours on Saturday, he made it sound like they were open all day when in fact they close at 12:00. I've been going to optometrists since I was eight years old, and no one has ever impressed me as much as Dr. Byars. He is an excellent optometrist with a professional, yet fun, personality, and his office manager and assistant, Tricia, is a lovely and extremely helpful person, too. I'm not sure why another reviewer accused Dr. Byars of being "rude," as I have never found him to be so, and the office hours are CLEARLY stated on the signs and the office phone systems.
