I’ve bought multiple bikes here for our family. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the prices are fair. They clearly love bikes, and no one makes you feel like an idiot. It’s a dream bike shop.
Highly NOT recommended. We bought a $1,300 BMX bike from them. My son got a serious injury on the bike that we bought from Bikeway because the brakes were shotty. Then, 4 months later after purchasing the bike, he returned and tried to trade the bike for another bike of lesser value and they offered him $300 for it. Bad business! Unsafe. Will not come back. We had to drive 2 hours and it was a waste of time.
My son bought a YT online and had questions about putting it together. They answered his questions, helped him with the final assembly where he was stuck, and even pointed out a few things he needed to adjust. So helpful!
This is the bike shop to go to! Check any of the bikeways out! all awesome Any of the Bikeways have great knowledgeable people. Always easy to talk to and service department is great.
Another great experience at Bikeway. Just left tonight after purchasing some supplies for the upcoming biking season. As I was thinking about it, we purchased bikes from all 3 locations in Wappingers (the other two being Route 9 near what turned to be Fun Central, Route 9 next to hannafords), and still have the bikes!! Super knowledgeable and friendly staff and service. The best!
