After a serious bike accident avoiding an excited pup, I brought my cherished Nishiki that I have had since the 70's in... Unbelievable what they did! Sam and Drew... Thank you! (Now... can you do something about speeding up this sprained ankle?) Love these folks!
Bikes Together is an amazing service to the Denver community. By providing free open shop times for anyone to work on their bikes, and offering free bikes to people who cannot afford a bike, and also selling bikes and providing professional repair services at reasonable prices, they are an indispensable part of Denver's cycling community, serving thousands of people every year. Very friendly and eager to help every time I come around.
Loved this place the first time I visited back in the autumn of 2010. I was working for AmeriCorps, and we met with staff to set up a kids bike rodeo (giveaway) at a local elementary school. After that I spent the winter & spring of 2010-11 as a volunteer mechanic on Saturdays helping folks fix their own bikes. I love Bike Depot! The fix-a-bike programs with the volunteer bicycle mechanics! Friendly, helpful staff who are experienced bicyclist too. Great selection of vintage bike, New bikes and parts!
They helped me rebuild my bicycle from high school!! Ordered parts and some great training as well!! .
Amazing people, volunteers work hard for their community. Wonderful atmosphere every day, I have great friends there.
