I have an old Trek 5000 road bike that I have suffered on for several years and I took it to Bikes and Moore and got a consultation and purchased some upgrades to improve my posture. Then I got a fit analysis and today did my first ride since. We averaged 22.5 mph and I feel better and hurt less than I ever have. I am extremely happy! This was the best experience I've had and I am really sorry I didn't do it sooner. Everyone needs to be fit to their bike and it's worth the time and investment.
If you are looking for an honest to goodness personal great bike purchasing experience this is definately your place! The store has a great selection of bikes in stock and knowledgeable staff that gets you what you need if they happen to not have it there. They go above and beyond! It is easy to see why the shop is named: "Bikes and Moore"!!
Went in looking for the perfect bike within my price range & boy was I in Shock! I had no clue that bikes we so expensive. Once I took the bike for a test drive I was sold right then & there. I knew I had a big ride coming up & there was no way I could use my old one after being introduced to a prime rib of bikes. I completed my first 25 mile bike ride today & other than being tired which is normal, I felt fabulous & cruised right along, this was the best choice besides my padded biking shorts. Not sure how Bikes and Moore received anything less than 5 stars. Been doing business with them for 30+ years. Family owned and operated and dedicated to his craft and the community. It's a treasure of a business. I recommend them highly to anyone that loves cycling of any kind.
Been meaning to write this for a while. I've been to Bikes and Moore over 5 times now, and every single time I visit the store, I get excellent customer service. They are very knowledgeable and answered all my questions ( I had a lot ), gave me real examples of why or why not I would need a specific piece of equipment. Also, they don't try to sell you a bike you don't need. I needed a simple road bike as an alternative to running, and they didn't try to sell me a tour de France race bike.
