Stay far away - japanese hair straightening absolutely nuked my virgin hair - photos were after cutting 5 inches. I previously had loosely wavy hair pattern and was seeking treatment mainly for frizz. Photos are 3 days after treatment, first at home wash - my hair is so poofy and I can't get my fingers through my hair due to damage and breakage. Highly recommended! Michelle is very knowledgeable and a joy to talk to throughout the process. In our initial conversation on the phone, I had texted pictures of my hair and she precisely estimated that it would take 3 hours to do the permanent hair straightening for my hair.
