My opinion won't matter much to those who've not experienced Warren Norstein's Road side restaurant but I feel a need to throw my two cents in. I'd heard about this place and decided to take the ride there. My buddy Kyle raved over it and I see why. I had a ''sensible brisket 'wich" with a side of mac-n-cheese. I couldn't finish it all. I'm no salesman. If you want a real meal, served and carved by a guy (as you watch) who over sees the whole operation, this is it. No fluff. No gimmicks. Visit regularly. Great food, comfortable atmosphere. Pulled pork stuffing is definite.
You can't say chain restaurant are better. This local joint is far better than Smokey B__e.
Amazing. Everything is excellent, great service, huge portions.
First time eating here.. the owner & staff was amazing.. offering samples of everything .. very personable and that really matters .. the food was great!! I absolutely loved the beef brisket with Mac & Cheese!!!
When I walked in and asked for marbled brisket, Warren took out a whole brisket and sliced me up a half pound of the fat cap! Talk about a BBQ dream come true! Always perfectly smoked, fresh and delicious. Always a favorite stop on motorcycle rides. All meats are great and the sides are just as good. Worth the trip from anywhere!
