Logan was our daughter’s structured literacy teacher for the summer. Logan was always smiling and so kind and caring. She was always prepared for the lesson and made it fun for our daughter. Our daughter came so far this summer with her six weeks with Logan. BWLP staff all were so friendly and inviting as I waited for the class to be completed. Our “speech” journey has been a long one. Starting with BWLP, in JK until now in grade 4. As a terrified mom, of a little boy, with no idea how to help or wondering where i went wrong. Heather assured me every step of the way, and always had an open door, if we needed anything. We were lucky enough to have 2 CDAs throughout our journey, Lindsay and Sidney. Our boys are successful because of Heather and her team. I can’t imagine where they’d be without them. They turn something that is challenging and frustrating for our little people into a caring, supportive and fun experience where children thrive and grow. Forever grateful.
I have never met a group of people who cared more about kids and about giving them the tools to communicate than the amazing people who work here. Despite the fact that verbal language is so hard for my son he loves going to speech therapy and bounds in with excitement every time. They come up with creative and engaging ways to teach and always go the extra mile.
My son has been going for 2 years. Started out with only a few words and no one but me could understand him. He is almost 5 now and we can fully understand him. The girls are patient and fun. I have enjoyed everyone who has worked with him. My son enjoys going to speech and seeing them.
