The unassuming exterior except for the hanging meat and typical Chinatown decor at Big Wong hardly prepares visitors for the carnivorous feast awaiting inside. Here you will find arguably the best barbecue meats in area, including sumptuous roast duck and pork. There is also wonton soup like you never had it before, as well as traditional congee (porridge), which can be eaten alone or with beef, chicken and other toppings. It is often crowded, but service is quick as long as you are assertive.

This is the best restaurant with great service especially Joe哥哥,he is super sweet and he highlight our day!
Food is great. Super casual place. Service is swift and pricing is very reasonable. Will definitely go back.
I LOVE Big Wong!!!!! Their food is amazing, super duper fast service!!!! I have been going there for the past 6 years every time I'm in the city!!! Post Chinese New Years Parade is our tradition!!!! We even watch the parade right I front of Big Wong so we are right there! I know there are plenty of great places in Chinatown and I've tried many, but Big Wong is at the top of my list. I recommend it to EVERYONE. unfortunately yesterday we had the worse of the waiters. He was extremely rude and even told us the fish dish smelle... read more
The food was great, but the head waiter was very rood.
The food, the outstanding service and the landmark location just can't be appreciated enough from just a simple review. You really need to experience what this restaurant offers and then you can tell me what I already knew! Enjoy!!!!!
General tsao chicken order extra spicy!! Great sauce with ginger finish, very very good, soups are very good also. Hearty food 100👍
This place has been here for a long time, even before I was born and the food is still cheap and delicious ! Only drawbacks is that lots of freaking tourists and out of towners come there to ooohhh and ahhh like they never had real good Chinese food before! Best time to go is early on weekdays before the workers come out for lunch!!!!
They are famous for the BBQ meat, especially the soy sauce chicken and the roasted pork. Tips to order the BBQ pork over noodles: ask for the "Hong Kong style": pile of BBQ pork over bed of noodles with boiled vegetables underneath the roasted pork. Otherwise, you would get the stir-fry noodles with heavy sauce.
