Can't say enough positive things about Bigwinds. I have been a loyal customer over ten or probably closer to 20 years. Wide selection of boards to demo and buy assisted by working with very knowledgeable staff. I have bought two windsurf boards and a SUP from Bigwinds. Different staff with individuals specializing in kiting, foiling and windsurfing. Also a recent addition is a master board repairer who was able to fix my board delamination problem and now it looks better than new.
Only great things about this awesome store. They've got great stuff and it's clean & organized but more than anything the staff are just SO nice, all of them. You walk in and they are just eager to help and not pressuring you to "buy or get out". Just super nice people that seem to love the same stuff their customers love. If they have what I need, I will go out of my way to go here.
Going into Big Winds to find out more about the demo center…I was super impressed. Clean, tidy and well stocked we were able to get a sense of what will work best for our needs. Ben (the demo center tech) was great. Super knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Ben and BW are raising the bar for what a good customer experience at a gear shop in the Gorge is .
