I have been living at Big Trout Lodge for almost 3 years. The office staff is always friendly and helpful with any questions/concerns and the maintenance staff is prompt to fix any problems that come up. We picked these apartments due to the neighborhood/community feel and the school assignment for our child. Buildings have good space between them, playground is good for young children, pool is a great place to get cooled off, and the garden spaces to teach your kids about growing fresh food.
Great maintenance response! Fixes problems super quick. Very helpful and friendly staff. Quiet and safe community and very well kept up! Love living here.
To contrast some of the poor posts I have seen on here, my husband and I have lived here for almost a year and have loved it. We have felt as though the management and entire team has taken care of us well. They are quick at getting back to all my emails and offering answers to any question I may have. I love the area, amenities, and our apartment. We won't live anywhere else until we purchase a house.
The lady at reception wasn't professional. I waited for awhile to ask about my packages from amazon while she was walking out the door and all she said was "Uhg I just..." and left. Ok I understand you are busy, but as someone who lives here maybe you could take two seconds to answer me and not treat me like a pest. We have had lots of trouble with our packages and our garbage bins were taken away, and only to find out a week and a half later we need to get our own from Waste Management. These people are RUTHLESS, I haven't been able to find work since June of this year and you would THINK they would be compassionate, especially during the holidays, but NOPE....not only are they charging me an early lease termination fee (which I cannot pay) they are also charging me for THREE DAYS rent for the next month because I didn't give notice in time....REALLY????.....whatever....THINK before you sign a lease here!...these people are total CROOKS and don't give a RAT'S ASS about anything or anyone, all they care abou... read more

We had a horrible experience with Big Trout Lodge Apartments / Greystar. This will be a lengthy post as we were wronged several times so if you don't have the time to read it just go check out Greystar's (located at 701 Pike St STE 1575, Seattle, WA 98101) report with the BBB (it's a very big, not surprising F). I just moved from Big Trout Lodge and the entire year we spent there was a nightmare. We had to walk across the complex to get to our apartment due to inadequate parking availability. The management and maintenance crew never took care of many repair requests we had made. (Dryer not working properly, electrical issues, etc.) We also had a small chihuahua that had peed in the apartment (always cleaned up so there were no stains) and they are now charging us almost $1400 to replace a 1 year old carpet for "pet stains" and the ... read more
