Updated: We've been taking our cats to Big Thompson for about 10-11 years now and I just can't say enough good things about them. Even after we moved further away from the clinic, we stayed with Big Thompson because of how much they genuinely care. I’ve been bringing my pets to this hospital for the past 16 years. They are very knowledgeable in providing excellent care for cats and dogs. My cat is very sassy and anxious when going to vet clinics, but the techs Big Thompson have such kind personalities that even the most fractious of animals are still able to get the care that they need. We always brought my parents’ dog to this hospital, and he lived a long and happy, healthy life. I can’t recommend them highly enough. 11/10
They were not patient with myself or my dog throughout the whole appointment time. They made my pup feel very fearful and anxious compared to other veterinarians we’ve been too. Wouldn’t recommend taking your animals!
I recommended this vet to my roommate, but after her experience there, I will never recommend them again. As animal professionals, you should not be rushing anxious dogs in order to finish your day. My roommate’s dog has no history whatsoever of being aggressive, and when the vet tech rushed her dog to try and get her into the back, he got bit. I’ve never seen a mean bone in this dog’s body, and the fact she came home smelling like glands and being told she bit someone is unlike her at all. I truly believe it’s because the t... read more
