I’ve bopped around to almost all of the Big Sky locations, and I have to say my favorites are Newington and New Britain. The main reason is the employees. I first went to New Britain where I met Julian, Trevor, and Holden. Each were open to chatting and would give great tips if I asked for advice on an exercise. Recently, I met Kuba who quickly showed he’s just as lovely. My point is: each employee that I’ve spoken to has been welcoming and brings a home-like energy into the club. It’s one of the reasons I stay with Big Sky!
I visited this gym hoping to join but left disappointed. On Friday. the kids’ center closed at noon on my first attempt, so I returned Saturday by myself. I paid $20 for a day pass, which surprisingly did not cover a full 24 hours like other gyms I’ve used. When I asked staff what sets this gym apart from others, I was met with dismissiveness rather than helpful information. Equipment? The equipment selection was also underwhelming- One Smith machine.
