I have lived in Allen for almost 2 years now and there have been maybe 2 weeks out of that time period that I haven't to Big Ray's at least once. I pretty much always get the same thing (rib plate with 3 bean salad and fried cabbage), and it is consistently mouthwateringly delicious. The ribs are good sized and fall off the bone, and are perfectly complemented by the tangy vinegar-based BBQ sauce (regular, I haven't tried the spicy). 2nd visit...Loved Again... Today was my designated cheat day and all I could think about was Big Rays! So worth spoiling myself.. Generous portions ... Loved the beans.... Made the mistake of getting the 3 Meat platter.. *I guess tomorrow will be a cheat day again
First time here...OMG it is wonderful. Employees are so great too. I'd been out of town for 2 weeks and I was ready for some real TX BBQ....I got what I wanted. Yum!
