My wife and I love Big Mike's Bar and Grill in Plano; its one of our favorite 'date night' places in Plano. They are a scratch kitchen and everything on the menu is fantastic. I highly recommend the Fish Fry or Prime Rib specials. There is also something going on every night from trivia, to live music, to open mics, to karaoke. This is THE spot to be at in Plano! The food is 10/10 every single time I come. The drinks at the bar are so good! D is the best bartender and the owners are so sweet. Come watch your next game here you won’t regret it.
Friday nights at Big Mike’s Bar & Grill have quickly become one of my favorite weekly traditions. Daria is an outstanding bartender—friendly, attentive, and always makes sure everyone has a great time. If you stop by on a Friday, don’t miss the fish and chips special. Great family owed restaurant with great food and Canadian beer.
I've been a couple of times. Portions are large. But, feel free to consider the kid menu for a reasonable amount. I've tried Big Mike's salad and the Reuben sandwich. Couldn't finish either. They have happy hour specials that are only communicated by the wait staff. Hold off ordering until you hear those. They have fun theme nights (music bingo, live music...)
