Get directionsI will forever be thankful for the men and women that helped me here. I was sent here 5 times from age 15-17 and was a very sick child; OCD, PTSD, ADHD/ADD and substance use drove me into phycotic rage and suicide. I remember many nights in the padded room, 4 quarter restraints, yet they still treated with compassion and care. Did they cure me? No. But the seed of recovery was planted within me which grew into what I am today. Things like vulnerability, resiliency, insight, accountability, and hope were planted in my mind an... read more
Extremely pissed at these people. I was not contacted by them at all. They told me they had my verbal consent. They did not then they said they had my husband’s verbal consent. They did not. When I went up there pissed the lady came in the room and said in the notes they tried calling and she did to. That was a lie. They asked me to sign a consent form. I wish I couldn’t even give this place one star so my daughter came in from her school clinic because they had some concerns just to make sure she was OK but she was in the intake room and almost every person that came in had an attitude or just acted like they didn’t want to be there in general especially this girl named Stacy doing intake questions needed to really fix her attitude. Why are you working with people‘s kids and every other word out of your mouth is something smart. Y’all need to do better.
kid was in their for 3 months i visited often. i went to get food during the afternoons in the lower level. the loud lady was rude to me when my family was in hospital. husband and son said the same. the loud lady would talk about us. scream in our face. laugh in face when no food was left for us. horrible lady. tall skinny loud lady made the time their worse
I do not recommend coming here for care. My child was referred to get a crisis assessment and we checked in at 9:30a and by 12:30p, was still never seen by a physician. We were never updated on why it was taking so long or when we would see at doctor. When having to bring him in for a crisis, I thought it would be treated as such. I have lost respect for this hospital that I once felt provided exceptional care.
