Since it’s my birthday weekend, I had a craving for ribs, so I decided to try Big Lee’s serious about Barbeque. I got there Sat about 11:45 & thought about leaving, because the line was about 50 people deep & it was COLD, but in the next instant, I decided to stay,& boy, I’m Sooooo glad I did! When Rashad came out to talk to his customers, someone mentioned to him it was my birthday weekend. By far . . . the best BBQ around. We drive 1 1/2 hours to come see Rashad and eat his BBQ. If you are anywhere in the neighborhood, you gotta stop by and try his burnt end. The very best around.
Food was excellent, also had a side order of Brunswick Stew which kept me warmed up while we were waiting for our food. And now being a Food Network Star RJ will be traveling all showing all the good BarBeQue
Rashad, his beautiful wife, Patrice, and his amazing team catered my rehearsal dinner for my wedding. I've always had a great experience with going to their little spot, and was completely blown away with the consistency of their juicy barbecue! Pull apart brisket, super flavorful chicken and sausage, and my goodness their ribs y'all!
