My friend Robert and I with 2 huskies were staying with you and just loved it! Your kindness and caring were especially appreciated when I had a medical emergency. The ambulance came to take me to the hospital. You came to see what you could do to help and you took care of the husky puppy until Robert could get back. They had to fly me to University of Utah in Salt Lake City. And you also sent me a Speedy Recovery blanket to the hospital. Such a surprise! What a genuine act of kindness that I appreciate so much! First off, all the staff were lovely. Everyone was friendly and helpful; I truly felt welcome staying there. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The decor was unique, to say the least; I found it a refreshing change from the usual bland motel room. There are a few areas where improvement is needed: 1. The beds were small. Our room was described as having two queen beds. They felt small, so I got out a measuring tape. Each one measured 54" wide; a queen bed is 64" wide. 2. The tub was quite shallow. Stayed at Big Horn Lodge during Memorial Day weekend when hotels in the area were almost completely sold out. After a long and exhausting drive, I had very few options left and ended up paying $256 for one night, which felt extremely overpriced for the overall experience and quality provided. I accepted it because I had no real alternative at that point, but the pricing felt like the hotel was taking advantage of the holiday demand and travelers’ limited options.
