I wish we had found this place when are journey with Parkinson’s started. The best place we have found. We had been to 3 or 4 other places through the years. This is different in a very good way.
Big Heart Center for Parkinson's Wellness is an unbelievable center for those with Parkinson's and other neurological disorders. Alison and Rachel do an outstanding job with their clients/members throughout the physical therapy sessions they offer, emotional support, training classes and navigating daily life. The training classes are challenging and do not shy away from encouraging the participants to push themselves, regardless of their diagnosis. We came across Big Hear Center for Parkinson's Wellness in August 2023 and it was the best thing that ever happened. My husband was diagnosed in 2017 and had done Big Step numerous times. Alison, Blake and Rachel treat Rich with respect and encouragement. They make him feel he is not forgotten. He started 3 times a week with private one on one classes and now attends many of the group classes offered.
