Friendly guys behind the counter was only the beginning of a terrific experience at Big EZ Seafood in Gretna. Soft shell crab po-boy was great, fried shrimp/catfish combo with fried rice was also great and enough for two meals, and the gumbo was loaded with all kinds of delicious seafood. All at very reasonable prices. Fully deserving of the high TripAdvisor ratings! Easy access from downtown via the Westbank Expressway, so don't hesitate to travel over the bridge for some great seafood.

Loved everything from the crawfish to the shrimp wrap to the gumbo to the Yakamein ...Oh wait can't forget about the Tea��...and the service is Great as well��

First time eating at Big EZ Seafood and certainly not the last! The fried catfish was wonderful. I've never had fried rice with my seafood plate before tonight but I'm so I happy I did! Best fried rice in town! The owner is super nice and has an upbeat attitude. Give it a try!

If you're looking for a savory/spicy (Cali/Houston) style crawfish, this is the place! They don't skimp on the garlic butter seasoning. I prefer this style over the traditional salty style crawfish you find in most places around town. Gumbo's loaded with meat, perfect with grilled cheese. Staff is so friendly and the place is very clean! Will come again~
