big eds shop does great an most of selling amsoil is the best products for customers cars.
Like a lot of business Big Eds built a good reputation on service and price, however; he seems to be a bit on the high side now. I got a quote from a mechanic on Duncan St. which was 1/4 that quoted by Big Ed. Both shops due great work so quality of work was not an issue, it may have something to do with Eds new shop. Also Big Ed doesnt do any major repairs.
Since I moved here everyone I met recommended Big Eds. Everytime Ive taken either of my vehicles to them their service is fast, but terribly shoddy. Once after brake work I got in my car in their parking lot and the brake pedal went all the way down to the floorboard and the lines were full of air. Someone forgot to bleed them. Every time Ive picked up my vehicle, while one problem is fixed, a new rise arises. Ive given them the benefit too many times and will have to find someone else.
I have taken my vehicles to Big Eds Automotive for years. He has always done top notch in service. He and his crew are always friendly & courtious. I would highly recommend Big Ed to any one needing mechanic work done on their car or truck.

When I hit a curb one night I thought I just blew out my tire & messed up the wheel, so when I went to Discount Tire to buy a new tire & wheel the guy said that the tire is not going to fit cause something is bent, he suggested to take it to Big Eds never heard of the place so I was a little nervous about it so when I get there he put my mind at ease he was the nicest person he knew exactly what I needed (a lower control arm) and gave me an estimate on how much the part was going to cost & was able to get it fixed the next d... read more
Just had my car repaired here, had the front calipers, brake pads and rotors replaced. A good friend recommended him to me and other friends confirmed his reputation and work as being excellent. He allows you to bring your own parts, and actually CALLS when the work was completed. Other places (which will go without mentioning *COUGH*firestone*COUGH*) will let your vehicle sit there till you call and inquire.
