They inspected a house we had for sale. What a joke! They said the dishwasher leaked, it did not. They also said the washing machine connections leaked, not. They noticed condensation between planes on a window in the bath that was actually paste residue from a decal that was on the window that came right off when washed. ????? He WAS the home inspector that my realtor used when I bought my house 2.5 years ago. The report was falsified on numerous items and potentially dangerous situations we not reported. Other professionals who come to my home are still finding things that should have been on the inspection report!! Please think twice before using him.
I would like to give him a good review but since I have spent about $10k fixing issues on our new home that he should have caught, I just can't. It wasn't just one miss either. There were literally 10 preventable items missed on our inspection. When I addressed this after the sale, he said he couldn't help it that these things went downhill in the few months we had lived there. Claimed alot of items in the home were in proper working order. The fireplace is in completely non working order, hot water tank failed plumbing tests and propane tests, massive propane leak, outlets not working at all, sever water leak under the kitchen and alot of wood rot under the kitchen. He claime he check under the home in the crawl space (which is not a tight area at all, plenty of room to bring equipment under the home).
