The worst experience in a restuarant.... – The food took 45 minutes to come. There were only a hnadful of customers in the whole place and it was 10:30 at night. When it came the order was wrong. No apology; just a snatch of the plate and 10 minutes later I asked if it was coming. She said "Yeah....". 5 minutes later she was filing ketchup bottles and when I inquired again, she said the kitchen had closed so they had to turn the overn back on. Basic diner food, so why the exorbitant pirces??? – Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. My girlfriend likes one salad they have, so I begrudgingly went back to this place after vowing never to do so. The prices are appalling. Everyone in NYC accepts high prices, but what does Big Daddy's give you? Ten dollars for a hot dog? With no fries ($2 extra for those). Just opened but work is needed – Big Daddy's recently opened on 2nd Ave - if you want any sort of fun dining experience (not to mention edible food), stick to the one on Park Ave South. When I walked in I was greeted by a friendly host but it all went down hill from there. The servers need to be trained (they were all international girls that had NO idea about customer service) and a new chef is needed. I was really excited to have this place on the UES but I won't be back for a long time...

Editorial Review – Apparently the original Flatiron diner was a big enough success that they owners have opened this Upper West Side outpost.
