Always great service and delicious food
We ended up at Big Daddy’s our last night camping near Cloudcroft as it was one of the only restaurants open on a weeknight. I’m glad we did! Exactly what you’d expect from a mountain diner with plenty of southwestern menu options. Nostalgic atmosphere, casual family vibe, and just good straight-forward diner food. We heard the bbq is great there, but unfortunately arrived too late to try any, but enjoyed our sandwiches. The staff was super friendly and made us feel immediately welcome and appreciated. 🌲

breakfast isn't served after 10:30 no bbq of any kind though it's on the sign and menu so we ended up eating hamburgers they were tasty i got mustard potato salad which tasted like old mayonaise
Food and atmosphere was great!
The food was great, fresh and large portions. The service was also excellent
Nice atmosphere, excellent service, food was good but $$$$$$$!!! I mean $6 for a one cup bowl of mac’n’cheese off the kids menu. $10.76 for a regular size chili cheese dog and tots. But, in all fairness, it is Cloudcroft, NM, during 4th of July week. I’ll try breakfast next time.
