I’ve had locks re-pinned here in the past and today I needed a replacement key for my car “side milled” which they did very quickly and at a great price. Excellent, quick and friendly service!
Friendly, Helpful, People. Offered me two options. They Do it all, or I do part of it myself for a cheaper price. I opted for them. Great, quick service. Afterwards they gave me tips on how to prevent the problem. I highly recommend this place!
Just saved me around $107! I wanted a spare laser cut key in case the one in my fob fell out, but the dealership quoted me around $160 & I felt it wasn't worth it. Happened to pass ACE Hardware on John R & saw they did laser cut keys. They didn't have my blank & recommended me to Big D. Whomever helped me at Big D was super nice, they didn't have my key but he made sure they'd be able to cut it if I bought one online. Great customer service Quick, friendly and reliable.
Big D lock & key is an outstanding key shop. I needed a car key programmed and they were able to do it for about 1/2 of what a dealer would charge. They are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and the owner is considered the Keymaster Guru of metro Detroit. In addition, they do some antique items and resale items. Some very unique items in this shop, including a original 1973 Chevy Corvette 350 LT crate engine from GM. What great place! I had a lock for a trailer and one of my co- worker had lost the key. The problem is the this trailer three locks so this problem. As really three problems. And the locks are over $23 dollar each. I brought my "problems" to the staff at Big D. In less then 10 min and under $10 dollar NO problem. Then also marked my keys as well. Wonderful service. I love this place.
