I stopped by Big City Optical today and had a great experience. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Bisael, and he was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful from start to finish. He took the time to answer all of my questions and made the whole process easy. Customer service like that really stands out. I'll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend Big City Optical to anyone looking for great service and a friendly, knowledgeable staff.
YOU guys called ME to set up an appointment. I was early and was told there was 1 person ahead of me. No, there were 2 people ahead of me. 40 minute wait. I decide I don't want the exam with this doctor. She didn't even apologize for running late. She asked me if I wanted her to go over the eye scans anyways, and I said no. But she then proceeded to blab about them for another 5 minutes, probably just so she can bill me.
The experience with the Doctor was very pleasant. However I should have been told the breakdown of the cost for the glasses. All the extras that get added on and not told just what the final cost was. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I paid more out of pocket than what insurance covered.
The men at reception were super kind and helpful. They helped me pick out glasses and went over the itemized invoice and options in a clear way. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and helped with my eye issue as well as giving me a new prescription. She explained everything so well and has given me resources to better care for my eyes. The space was well lit, organized, and very clean. Definitely will come back and make this practice my primary optometrist!
Nice location, attentive staff, and thorough explanations during the eye exam. Good selection of frames though some might feel it’s small (equivalent to the city locations though). Wide range of styles though so most can find something they like
