I’ve been coming to Big City Optical in the West Loop for about three years for annual eye exams and glasses, but my experiences have consistently left me disappointed. Each time, I’ve had add-on packages ($50 “care” bundles, etc.) slipped into the discussion without clear disclosure, and I’ve had to press to get detailed receipts explaining what I was actually paying for. Received great customer service from manager, Cassie!
I originally called Vision Works and after getting turned away I decided to try to log onto my insurance app to see where they preferred. I called and was able to get in the same day! Michelle was extremely helpful! She was patient. Went over what my insurance covered & gave me all options before I went in. At the appointment I only waited for five minutes of less and was out in 30 minutes total! Michelle was able to assist with closing me out. I would recommend this place! 10 out of 10! Highly recommend!
5 weeks since I placed an order for glasses. Still no glasses and never get any updates. Horrible service and business. They also misquoted me on my glasses and over charged me. I had to have a manager go back and adjust it. I wouldn’t go here.
