These trails are definitely more for cross-country riding. They're really nice trails and well marked.
I visited this trail system for the first time in October by myself. I mainly wandered around with the understanding that most trails connect with the Ranger trail. I eventually found the Ranger trail then the signs pointing toward the trailhead/exit when I was ready to return to the the parking areas. I enjoyed the nature, the condition of the trails, and the moderate difficulty overall of my nature walk.
