We didn’t expect the roof’s underlayment to fail so soon. Big Boy Roofing helped with the reroofing by removing every old tile, replacing the underlayment, and reinstalling with better flashing around the chimneys and ridges. During our home extension, the hip roof needed a new installation. Big Boy Roofing framed the roof from scratch, ensuring all ridges and slopes were aligned for proper drainage. The ridge vents on our hip roof were outdated, and sagging ridgelines worsened things. We took this chance to do a complete roof replacement. Mark and Paul from Big Boy Roofing came in, replaced the framing where necessary, and laid down new architectural shingles. They also installed modern ridge vents that immediately improved attic airflow. It wasn’t just a cosmetic fix; we could feel the difference inside once it was done.
Our flat roof section had drainage problems, and patching wasn't working anymore. These roofers came in and reroofed it with a built-up roofing system. They corrected the low-slope angles by adding new framing layers and installed the BUR layers step-by-step. They even coordinated the city inspections so that the project moved along without hiccups. The flat roof drains correctly, and we've had no issues since.
This wasn’t just a roof job; it turned into fixing years of problems. We had a gable roof with two skylights that constantly leaked. They removed the old shingles, stripped the soft plywood, and reframed the roof deck around the skylights. Then came the new underlayment and upgraded shingles.
