We are so thankful for the staff at Big Bend Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Hooks has helped us treat the feline diabetes and severe tooth infection of my feisty 11 year old cat, Oliver, and a big flu/pneumonia bout of our newly adopted rescue Pomeranian, Carlisle. And now that Carlisle is better, we can’t wait to schedule his first groom with Betty. I recommend this office to everyone!
The staff at Big Bend Vet Clinic are wonderful. They treated my difficult cat without complaint. When she had difficulty breathing they got her in right away, no waiting. And again when I had to put her to sleep recently they offered to stay after hours if we needed more time. Highly recommend!
Dr. Hooks and his staff could not be more professional, experienced, and empathetic in caring for the patient and their human companions. This dedicated team helped us through difficult times with excellent outcomes. They all get our highest recommendation.

Do yourself and your pet a favor, take your dog in for a dental. My Buggie had a dental and a few teeth pulled. I cannot tell you the big difference in how he is feeling and eating now - and his breath will not knock a buzzard off of a gut wagon! I believe it made a huge difference in his health. Nice of everyone to call and check on him and how he is doing. As always, the personal care and attention from Dr. Hooks and his staff cannot be beat.
