First time using Big Bear vacation rentals and was very pleased. We stayed at the cabin Pines and needles. Check in process was a breeze. They just give you the combination to the lock box and open the key holder. Cabin was beautiful and very clean. Love the Christmas decorations! I had to buy some new batteries for the wreath above the fireplace because the other ones were no good. Everything worked very well except for the Jacuzzi didn’t get as hot as we would’ve liked. We stayed at the cabin called Camp Scarlett. Nice place if they took care of it. Very, very disappointed. 1. Ants in kitchen; counter tops, stove, etc. Barely finished cooking and ants were all over the stove again 2. Furniture and carpets stink. Not musty smelling, but dirty and like pee, also both are very stained 3. Shower was filthy with moldy shower curtains 4. Kitchen floor not clean in the corners. Do not recommend these people (Big bear vacation Rentals). We rented a three bedroom cabin. Ac broken, the exterior deck deteriorated, and unsafe for trip hazard, most exterior furniture ripped and unusable, interior chairs are broken, screens are none functional, kitchen has little supplies, burned light bulbs, too much to list, worse place ever.
