I was trying to rent a kayak and it was very unclear and seemed like I was taken advantage of there. After buying it trying to split the cost they only would give my friends the wristbands to pass. Leaving me and my other friends to go home empty handed I’m sick of this(very overpriced)
People in my group payed for service, were denied to get on the boat for no reason, and didn't get refunded the money.
I called a few days before to make sure that it was open. Luckily, we went in the middle of April. The season had just started, so there was no waiting. There was plenty of parking. In order to kayak on the lake, you first have to pay at the store that's across the street. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also, they give you a sense that safety is number one to them. Im sorry to bust this review, but my family and were set to go kayaking, but it should have said that it's closed to kayaking on late January. It's so sunny. Bummed that ira only open during the summer :(
