When I originally booked a room at the Big Bear Frontier I wasn't aware they were under renovation. They have a pool and spa that was being redone and apparently most of the property, but the room was pretty nice, the beds were comfy and the room had a fireplace we didn't need it cuz it was 80° out. The bathroom was big the closet was in the bathroom they had nice tile around the shower. Great place to stay, newly remodeled cabin units. Rooms are very updated compared to before has fire place and now air conditioning and heating. Also a nice kitchen area to cook if you wanted. Nice gas fire pit with great lake view, gas grills also for use by the edge of the property by the lake. 5 minute walking distance to the tourist Village shopping area along with other shops and restaurants 30 seconds to a 3 minute walk as well. Poor customer service at check in. No wifi, no ice machine, dirty room and broken shower head in the bathroom. The value for what we were charged was not there
