This was the first hotel I have stayed at in Big bear, I planned this trip for my boyfriend I called the front office and manger Kelly was incredibly helpful and so accommodating the entire time. We had things come up and movements on my reservation but the entire time she was so helpful and kind helping me surprise my boyfriend for his birthday trip. I had a wonderful stay at Big Bear Frontier on January 2026 and would absolutely recommend it. The hotel is super clean, very well maintained, and in a perfect location. Everything was exactly as expected, if not better. The surroundings are beautiful, and the location makes it easy to enjoy everything Big Bear has to offer. Nice room even if our cabin wasn't a quite as lake-side as anticipated. There was also some remodeling when we were there in the autumn, but that was taking place mostly midday so it wasn't an issue.
