Not at all as advertised. Nothing like pictures on website. Bed was awful. You were standing on your head it was so concave. There were no chairs, but a small table to drag over to sit on bed. No light over kitchenette sink. Bathroom sink and mirror very high. Bath tub plug plugs water when trying to drain. You remain in standing water. Very small room. No place to set anything.

The queen bed room we had was large and roomy with a Keurig style coffee maker with around 8 pods. I suggest bringing your own. We were right off the lake with a very nice large patio with chairs, picnic tables, sun umbrellas, and gas fireplace, and gas grills to enjoy the view and hangout with friends. The room floor was very dirty thought. I wiped up some spilled water and the towel turned black. They also overcharged me by exactly 7% more than the price on the confirmation email. I write this review while experiencing the thunderous sounds of water from a person taking a shower after continuous pounding and heavy steps. I am assuming it’s a person who must weigh over 230 pounds and in a mad rush to for some urgent need to go back and forth in the room upstairs above me. I stayed at this place every year but always upstairs. Due to renovations and a new policy I was forced to take room downstairs. I will not return ever again.

Had an awesome time for our first time in Big Bear! So much, we’ve been trying to get back, only 2 weeks after our first visit. The catfish bite at night. The lake was a 2 minute walk from our hotel door. The people and staff are very friendly. Beautiful place away from the major cities.
